Cementitious Self-Leveling for a Modern Hospitality Refresh
Root & Rise supported Churchill Downs with a flooring upgrade inside the Jockey Club Suites, replacing outdated ceramic tile with luxury vinyl plank. The goal was to modernize the hospitality environment and introduce a warmer, more comfortable flooring system suitable for high-traffic entertainment use.
Because the existing substrate consisted of uneven tile, our team utilized a significant amount of cementitious self-leveling material to create a smooth surface before installing the new LVP. This step ensured proper adhesion, long-term performance, and a flawless finished appearance.
The completed space now delivers a clean, durable, and stylish flooring system that enhances the guest experience and elevates a signature hospitality venue within Churchill Downs.
